It starts with screams and must never end in silence. 12% to 15% of European women over 16 have suffered domestic abuse in a relationship – too many have died. Many more continue to suffer physical and sexual violence from former partners, even after the break-up. It's time to find a way out!

Yn y bôn mae cam-drin yn y cartref yn cynnwys un person yn camddefnyddio pŵer ac yn defnyddio rheolaeth dros berson arall lle mae, neu y cafwyd perthynas agos.

Mae cam-drin yn y cartref yn digwydd beth bynnag fo’r rhyw, hil, dosbarth, oed, crefydd, rhywioldeb, gallu meddyliol, gallu corfforol, incwm, ffordd o fyw neu ardal breswyl ddaearyddol.

Dengys ystadegau bod 97% o ddigwyddiadau cam-drin yn y cartref yr adroddir amdanynt yn cael eu cyflawni gan ddynion yn erbyn menywod. Fodd bynnag, mae Cymorth i Fenywod Cymru yn cydnabod y gall cam-drin yn y cartref ddigwydd o fewn perthynas o’r un rhyw ac mewn ychydig iawn o achosion, menywod sy’n cyflawni’r gamdriniaeth.
