Conwy Domestic Abuse Forum Highlights White Ribbon Day Campaign

Members of the Conwy Domestic Abuse Forum will be joining the International campaign to Stop Violence against Women.

On 25^th November, Colwyn Women’s Aid and Aberconwy Women’s Aid will be staffing stands in the centre of Colwyn Bay from 10.00am onwards. White ribbons and information will be distributed and the Mayor will attend the release of balloons representing the number of women and children supported in the past month.

White ribbons and information will be available in all major libraries in the County with a display stand by Colwyn Women’s Aid in the major library of Colwyn Bay. Conwy County Borough Council will highlight White Ribbon week on their Intranet to raise awareness amongst all Councillors and employees and invite them to collect their ribbon from Reception in Bodlondeb and the Civic Offices in Colwyn Bay.
