Ynys Mon Domestic Abuse Forum - White Ribbon Day Events

Ynys Mon Domestic Abuse Forum will be joining in the campaigning for International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women/White Ribbon Day on Tuesday 25th November 2008.

They will have information stands stationed at Asda in Llangefni, The Co-Op in Menai Bridge, Morrisons in Holyhead and Sommerfield in Amlwch between the hours of 10am-4pm. The stands will provide information regarding White Ribbon Day, generic information regarding domestic abuse including helplines and the opportunity to obtain a white ribbon.

White Ribbons will not be chargeable, however donations will be gratefully received. Any donations collected will go towards the Ynys Môn Domestic Abuse Forum.

Posters will also be placed around local shops and public houses to inform the public of the effects of domestic abuse. White Ribbons can also be obtained in selected local shops and public houses.

Please come along and support the White Ribbon Day campaign and Ynys Mon Domestic Abuse Forum and say NO to violence against women.
