Port Talbot Women's Aid Organise Seafront Walk to Raise Awareness of International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
6 Nov 2008
Tuesday 25th November 2008 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women/White Ribbon Day. Campaigning organisations and individuals across the world will actively take a stand to campaign for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
As part of this International event, staff and volunteers at Port Talbot Women's Aid have organised a seafront walk to campaign and raise awareness of Violence Against Women. The event will start at 12.45pm and the Assembly point is outside of Bar Galois. There will coffee, cakes and refreshments at the end of the walk.
If you want to support the International Campaign to End Violence Against Women and want to support Port Talbot Women's Aid efforts in this campaign, please join their walk on 25th November and help us all to say NO to violence against women.
