EVAW is a coalition of individuals and organisations who are calling on the Government, public bodies and others to take concerted action to end violence against women.
EVAW have 4 campaigning goals:
- For violence against women to be understood as a cause and consequence of women's inequality
- To raise awareness about the nature, extent and impacts of violence against women in the UK, and how it can be prevented
- For the UK Government and devolved administrations to develop integrated and strategic approaches to ending violence against women
- To share good practice across the UK and learn from the experience in Scotland where a framework is being developed

WAVE Network - Women Against Violence Europe Network (http://www.wave-network.org/)
WAVE is a network of European women's non-governmental organisations working in the field of combating violence against women and children (women's refuges, counselling centres, SOS hotlines/helplines, organisations focusing on prevention and training, etc.).
- The Network focuses specifically on violence in the family and in intimate relationships.
- The Network sets out to promote and strengthen the human rights of women and children in general and to prevent violence against women and children in particular.

The Women's National Commission is the official and independent advisory body giving the views of women to the government of the United Kingdom.

A main focus of their work is combating Violence Against Women.
